Dear Friends,
I ask you once again for the privilege of serving the communities of Bellerose, Cambria Heights, Hollis, Queens Village and parts of Floral Park and St. Albans. Our communities like others, are presently experiencing a national economic downturn. So, I hope that you would agree that effective leadership in the District and in Albany is needed now more than ever. My track record shows that I have consistently stood on the right side of issues that best serve my constituents. I believe that I am the sure, steady hand that can deliver the level of service and commitment that is needed during these uncertain times. I hope you agree and on Tuesday, September 14th vote to re-elect me so that we can continue to keep our communities stable and moving forward. Thank you.

Vote To Re-Elect Assembly Woman Barbara Clark Tuesday, Sept. 14th, 2010
July 2010-
Barbara as co-prime sponsor of new Domestic Workers Bill of Rights calls on Governor to sign ground breaking legislation. NY is first state in the nation to enact compensation, workplace safety and anti-discrimination provisions to protect those who work in the shadows of the City.
June 2010-
Clark's Child Advocate bill
passes in both the Assembly and Senate.
Creates an independent Office of the Child Advocate to protect the legal rights of children in juvenile facilities.
The Child Advocate would report directly to the Governor
eliminating the existing multi-tier bureaucracy which oversees facility complaints and regulations.
